Hello, world!

My name is Elysia Pan. Welcome to my website, where you can find out more about my interests, intellectual pursuits and multimedia projects.

I appreciate clean design, good looks and creative solutions. I hail from Stamford, CT and am a new alumna of Duke University. At Duke, I double majored in Visual and Media Studies and International Comparative Studies, with a certificate in Markets and Management Studies. I pursued an honors thesis project that earnest highest graduation entitled  “Beautiful White”: An Illumination of Asian Skin-Whitening Culture.

In my spare time, I really enjoy skiing, swimming, kayaking and cooking.

I love sea otters. According to an online survey, they are my “spirit animal.” I do indeed have a “penchant for sushi” and aquatic activities. Of course, I also love to:

  • make silly faces:

  • eat fresh seafood straight from the source:

  • then hang around a bit worrying about what I just ate and what my next meal will be:

Silly as an otter!

I sometimes meow too. Otterly silly!

I will try to update this website with content that I find interesting and hope that it will provide some insight as to who I am.
